The romantic essence of a bygone era was beautifully captured when I saw an old bicycle leaning against a fence in a overgrown garden. Even though the bike is from days gone by, the sun shines on it today and the roots of the garden keep it connected to its past.

A very naughty monkey gets away with all sorts of things, but will his luck hold out?

Inspired by Van Gogh, this was the very first watercolour I created with new quality watercolours that I received as a gift for Christmas. It is, by far, my own personal favourite. Vincent Van Gogh lights my artistic fire. Despite struggling with mental health problems, he was able to create such beautiful work. He gave me so much hope when I was in my darkest times.

I love to use acrylics and mixed media to express my emotions, be it either soaring the heights of elation, the depths that sadness sometimes brings or frustration and anger that humans sometimes feel.

Sometimes in life, all you need is a good cup of tea and the beautiful company of a close friend so that you can talk away all the worlds problems, without judgement. Tea is best shared with best friends.

'The Journey' may at first invoke sadness, but in reality, it celebrates our lives. In life we often conclude that we have reached our destination, when it may in fact be our beginning.
